A hit and run accident sent one man to the hospital battered and bruised.
Leon County deputies discovered 34-year-old Tony Hamm laying in a ditch a little before 7 a.m. Saturday morning on Capital Circle Northwest.
Hamm told authorities he was hit from behind while walking down the road and spent at least two hours there before deputies came to his aid.
The victim said he heard two females get out of the vehicle arguing, and then take off without helping him.
Hamm was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with minor injuries to his shoulder, hip and hand.
Authorities are looking for a small red passenger car with a broken windshield.
