Some loose change is quickly adding up on the streets of Tallahassee, adding up to help a good cause, the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The Tallahassee Fire Department is taking part in the MDA boot drive once again. For three days firefighters stood at busy intersections trying to collect as much money as they could to go towards Jerry's Lids.
LT Tom Pescatore with the Tallahassee Police Department said, "People have been real generous so far and Tallahassee people have been good to us. We do this; we've been doing this for a few years now."
Last year the Fire Department raised $27,000. This year their goal is $32,000. Saturday was the last day of the boot drive.
