Tallahassee Police have released the name of a woman killed in a two-car accident on Saturday. The Florida Highway Patrol says 87-year-old Gail Maher of Carrabelle was killed when her Ford Mercury was struck by a pickup truck at the intersection of Capital Circle and Springhill Road.
The driver of the Ford pickup truck, 52-year-old, Webster Eldridge, of Havanna, walked away from the accident with minor injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Eldridge failed to stop for a red light. Maher was pronounced dead at the scene.
