Leon County detectives say they know the name of the man behind the robbery of a Tallahassee Bank of America.
They identified 23-year-old Daniel Strickland through bank surveillance video, and with help from tips from the community as well as witnesses on the scene.
Detectives say it is possible Strickland has left the area.
SGT Chris Chase from the Leon County Sheriff's Office said, "He's actually probably left the state, so at this point we're trying to get information. If anyone has current information on where he might be, of where he might be headed, to please call the Robbery Task Force."
Stickland has an extensive criminal history. A records check shows he's been in and out of the state prison system for the past five years with charges ranging from arson to grand theft.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 850-922-3300, or Crimestoppers at 891-HELP.
