A group of demonstrators from our area packed up early Saturday morning and headed to Panama City. They're protesting the death of Martin Lee Anderson, who died in a Bay County boot camp.
The students headed out early Saturday morning from FAMU's campus.
We spoke with Philip Agnew, FAMU's student body president, who was at the march and had this to say about the turnout.
Philip Agnew said, "We actually had community members come out where they were able to come out and join us in the march."
Agnew says they marched from a nearby stadium to the Bay County Boot Camp, which was about a half-mile away.
