WCTV's own Anna Johnson served as emcee for the 2006 Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Small Business Awards. One of the winners was Aegis Computer Services for technology business of the year.

"Being considered the technology company of the year in Tallahassee was a huge boost for us when we won before. This time, it just validates everything we've been doing for the last couple of years," said Pam Butler, CEO of Aegis Computer Services.

Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority won for association of the year. The Challenger Learning Center won for non-profit business of the year.

Summit Outdoor Advertising won for emerging business of the year, and the small business winners of the year, from smallest to largest, went to Technology Services Group, Awards-4-U, and Benson's Heating and Air Conditioning.

WCTV, which served as a sponsor, congratulations all of the winners and nominees.
