A man wanted for repeatedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend is now under arrest in south Florida.
Nineteen-year-old Leundra Hart was actually arrested in Broward County on Sunday night for peering in the windows of several homes there.
Tallahassee police didn't find out about his loitering and prowling arrest until late Monday and had to fax a copy of the warrant down to keep him behind bars.
OFC John Newland of the Tallahassee Police Department said, "We're just glad that he's in custody. It took a little while to get him in custody, but he's in custody now and he'll be brought back to face first degree attempted murder charges."
Hart will be brought back in the next week or so to face attempted murder charges in Tallahassee.
Police say he attacked his ex-girlfriend in a supermarket parking lot last week, slashing her face and neck several times.
