Police say 34-year-old James Edward Finch was driving at a high speed in Quincy. Authorities attempted to stop him, a chase gave way and police were finally able to corner him on a one way street.
Police say Finch tried to flee on foot, dropping a bag of cocaine, a scale in this purple bag, plastic bags and money from his pants pocket.
Quincy Police Chief Gerald McSwain says, "We found 104 grams of cocaine powder. It appears to be in its purest form. There also was $274 in cash. The pure cocaine is valued at $10,000.”
Finch is charged with drug trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing and eluding authorities. He was released on a $5,500 bond.
