FSU's Study Abroad Program Cancelled

SARS

The threat of SARS has led to the cancellation of an FSU international program.

Director James Pitts says a group of FSU students headed to Vietnam will be staying home. With 18 summer programs around the world, Pitts says they have to pay a great deal of attention to events overseas.

Despite the concern over SARS, a group of FSU business students have been given the OK to travel to Japan in about two weeks. Pitts says FSU’s international programs have not seen a decline in interest.
