A crash on Interstate 10 Monday sends three people to the hospital and backs up traffic for miles.
It happened at 7:40 Monday morning in the midst of rush hour near the Monroe Street exit.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of a Nissan lost control as she tried to merge onto I-10.
Her car traveled across the eastbound lanes, across the median and headed on into westbound traffic where it collided with two other cars.
All three drivers were taken to the hospital, but FHP says none had life threatening injuries.
