After 11 teens were killed behind the wheel, decided something needed to be done so, they started traveling to schools across the Peach state, educating young drivers about responsible driving.
Tuesday, Operation Drive Smart made its ninth and final stop at Thomasville High School. Students were paired with DUI goggles and set off on what seemed like an easy driving course, not so for many.
The program was funded through grants totaling $20,000 this year. Operation Drive Smart got its start in 1999.
