House lawmakers were able to tentatively agreed on legislation that nearly doubles the fines for traffic tickets.
Under the bill, moving violations would go from $60 to $110 and non-moving violations would go from $30 to $50.
Fines for criminal infractions, such as driving under the influence or reckless driving would cost an extra $500.
The increased fines would raise money for the state. The bill still needs Senate approval.
