Man Stabbed During Argument

A Tallahassee man is recovering after being stabbed in the back by his girlfriend.

The Tallahassee Police Department says the attack happened just before 11 p.m. on West Sixth Street, off Old Bainbridge Road.

They say 31-year-old Bernetta Galloway was arguing with her boyfriend on the front porch of her uncle's house.

They say when the two took the argument inside she grabbed a steak knife and stabbed Roy Griffin in the back.

The blade went through his back puncturing his lung. He was rushed to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

Galloway is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
