A Tallahassee hotel owner was busted for stocking his hotel rooms with stolen goods.
Police arrested Ravi Vemuri, owner of the Travel Lodge on Brevard Street. They say this is the culmination of an undercover investigation.
Police say Vemuri was knowingly receiving stolen TVs, microwaves, and coffee makers to use at his hotel. Investigators were able to recover the stolen merchandise.
LT Edward Smith of the Tallahassee Police Department said, "He's being charged with two counts of stolen property, two counts of grand theft, and the total value is right at $1,300 of recovered stolen property."
Police say they are continuing the investigation, but believe Vemuri was working alone.
