Hotel Explodes in West Georgia

Authorities say there's no report of injuries, but one person is unaccounted for after an explosion at a motel in West Georgia.

State Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John Oxendine says the explosion happened about 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Quality Inn and Suites off U.S. 27 at Bremen. He says investigators are trying to determine the cause of the explosion. The person who is unaccounted for is a motel maintenance worker.

Bremen Police say most of the occupants had left for the day before the explosion, which caused part of the motel's roof to collapse.
