There’s a change of colors for the Georgia State Patrol. Instead of silver letters across, the patrol cars are getting ready to see more orange.
That's how the cars used to look in 1987; then they were changed to silver, and now they're going back to the old way.
Troopers say this will make them more visual as they make their rounds which will keep the patrols safer.
They have a few cars with the new coloring, and within a year all the cars will be sporting the new orange letters.
