As federal conspiracy case that's been years in the making may be over soon, as Grady County farmer Don Harrell enters a guilty plea to one count of obstruction of justice.
Court officials say Harrell encouraged and organized false testimony from his fiancée, Kearsley Doughty, regarding a witness tampering charge against him.
Officials say with this plea agreement, the original Hobbs Act charges could be dismissed, but the court reserves the right to consider all the evidence at sentencing, which will be later this summer.
Harrell's two co-defendants are awaiting sentencing.
