A quarrel between brothers ends in gunfire. Now one is in the hospital and the other behind bars.
It happened Tuesday night at the home on Long Pine Drive. Leon County deputies say two brothers were arguing over clothes when one of them went and got his gun.
SGT Chris Chase, Leon County Sheriff's Office spokesman, said, "He then point blank approached the other brother. As he went to shoot the other brother in the face, the other brother, the victim, was able to put his arm up in a defensive way and received it to his forearm instead of his face."
Fifty-six-year-old Zack Peterson is in jail charged with attempted murder and his brother, 50-year-old Nathaniel Akbar, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm.
