The Leon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an afternoon hold up at the Charlie’s Meat Market in the 7500 block of State Road 20.
According to the victim, shortly after 4:00 p.m. a black male subject wearing a red or orange shirt and a mask covering his face entered the store and brandished a handgun. The subject then robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area on foot.
Detectives from the Robbery Task Force responded along with a K-9 Team however the subject was not located.
Sgt. Chris Chase, LCSO spokesman, said, “This robbery happened in a heavy traffic period for SR20. We hope someone might have seen the suspected robber and where he came from or might have fled to.”
