More Charges Against FCI Guards

Five Tallahassee prison guards are now in even more trouble.

The FCI guards were arrested last month, accused in a sex-for-favors conspiracy.

Thursday, the U.S. Attorney announced a superseding indictment in the case which adds even more federal charges of sex with inmates, bribery and witness tampering.

Alfred Barnes, Gregory Dixon, Vincent Johnson, Alan Moore and Lavon Spence are all accused in the conspiracy.

The court clerk's office says the guards will be arraigned on the new charges next Tuesday.

A sixth guard accused in the scandal was killed in a shootout with federal agents who came to arrest him. One of those federal agents was killed too.
