It's training time for Tallahassee's lifeguards, a process that polishes skills and teaches prospective lifeguards the reality of the job.
The eight hour classes are a prerequisite for anyone 15-years-old and older who want to lifeguard in the city.
In order to take the class you must be able to swim 20 pool lengths or 500 yards.
The lifeguard training for the city of Tallahassee wraps up Memorial Day weekend.
