Family and friends gathered in Monticello, Florida to remember former Jefferson County Commissioner Clifford Brown. Funeral sevices were held at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.
Brown passed away May 9th. He was the first African American elected to the Jefferson County Commission.
Those who remembered him say he had an interesting sense of humor and practiced what he preached.
Clifford Brown was 61-years-old, and held office for more than 16 years.
