Around 10:15 Friday night, a Tallahassee police officer noticed two men in a parking area of business called "Gates That Open."
Police say 25-year-old Dante Hall and 20-year-old Anthony Case were trying to load several large spools of copper wire into a car.
"Well, being just plain wire, it's not traceable. It doesn't have serial numbers or anything and it can be sold go scrap metal dealers," explained SGT Dewey Riou of the Tallahassee Police Department.
Police say the spools of copper are valued at $3,600. Both Hall and Case were arrested for burglary and grand theft. Police also say Dante Hall was an employee of the business.
