Losing your child is devastating. Having certain documents ready if this should ever happen could make all the difference.
The Thomasville Police Department offers free fingerprint kits for your child in case of any kind of emergency. The officers spent a few hours at Verizon Wireless this weekend, fingerprinting children while parents were shopping, but want to remind everyone they can get this done at any time.
SGT Rachelle Denmark with the Thomasville Police Department said, "We're available to do this at the Thomasville Police Department. Our front desk officers are available to do it; our school resource officers have the material to do it. We find that this is a very valuable tool for parents."
Other records that go along with this kit are your child's dental records and medical records, along with a physical description, and these forms are also available in Spanish.
