Florida educators are asking the gubernatorial candidates to picture the future.
Educators want the candidates to include a call for an improved universal pre-kindergarten program in their campaigns.
Children from around the state presented artwork of what they want to be when they grow up.
Children's Campaign Co-Chair Bill Sublette says the pictures show they're thinking of their future and they need adults to do the same.
"All children, especially very young children, aspire to be doctors, lawyers, teachers, firefighters, police officers, and yet none of those children will achieve those goals unless they get a quality education."
The educators are pushing for a full day pre-kindergarten program with certified instructors.
