Willis Gets Bond

A man accused of attacking two Tallahassee women could wind up back on the streets.

A judge has agreed to set bond for 17-year-old Montez Willis who is accused of breaking into the homes of two women, attacking one and trying to rape the other.

Willis has been held without bond since his arrest in January, but this week a judge agreed to set a $150,000 bond.

Leah Armstrong, who lives near the crime scene, wonders why.

"They know a lot more than we do about it, but anybody that, you know, breaks in and hurts someone, I don't know about a bond. There are laws that need to be followed in this country."

Prosecutor Neill Wade says he thinks the $150,000 bond is high enough to keep Willis behind bars until his trial in September.
