Alltech, a bio-technical and research company out of Lexington, Kentucky, will soon be calling the Rose City home.
It will be moving into a 50,000 square foot building that was formally occupied by Quality Containers.
Don Sims with the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber said, "They're employing some of the people that worked for Quality Containers, so it was a very good fit for them. They've come in, Quality has just shut down. Alltech is coming in, so it's a good move in the community."
Alltech's plans call for a 3,000 square foot addition to the existing building. The company expects to bring in more technical and research jobs along with the new space.
