Pioneer Family Farm

A sprawling 100 acre farm has been in Lynne Poucher's family for more than 100 years.

Poucher's great grandfather built the house in the 1800s, and so far six generations have resided in the house.

Florida's agriculture commissioner recognized the estate as a century pioneer family farm, a distinct honor for folks who've held on to their heritage and maintained their property.

Lynee Poucher said, "It's a proud feeling to know that we're proud of the beginning of something and we've been here throughout the bad times, good times, and that we will continue to stay."

Poucher will pass on the 100 acre farm, complete with home, to her daughter who is the sixth generation now residing on the grounds.
