It happened on Yellow Bird Trail Thursday morning. The Leon County Sheriff's Office contacted the homeowner at work informing her of the fire.
When the residents arrived on scene they say the flames were reaching 30 feet in the air. There were no injuries, but two calico cats are still missing.
Homeowner Jacquelyn Rehwinkel said, "The entire home was a loss and its contents, including my pregnant daughter's baby things. Clothing, stuff she was getting ready to use."
Shelly Allen, who also resides in the home, added, "I've lost everything, all my cleans. I mean, our home. I don't have a home to bring my baby to now."
Damage is estimated at close to $100,000. The American Red Cross is assisting the family. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
