A Thomas county man was killed Thursday in a traffic crash after his vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer.
Georgia State Patrol officials say 56-year-old Richard Harold Dugger of Boston, Georgia failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Georgia 33 and U.S. Highway 84. This is when Georgia State Patrol says his Dodge Dakota was struck by a semi which was traveling east on 84.
Dugger was killed instantly in the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Jesse Griffin of Jacksonville, was treated for his injuries and released.
