Murder Charges Against Robbery Victim

Friday, a robbery attempt gone wrong had turned deadly. Now, a Gadsden County man who has admitted his involvement to deputies is charged with murder.

Ricky Jones told deputies he was the victim of a robbery Friday morning. Jones identified Milton Fagg and Joshua Frederick as the men who robbed him. Deputies say Fagg and Frederick robbed Jones at his home and when they tried to get away. A shootout occurred between the three men.

The body of Joshua Fredrick was found about five miles away from Jones' mobile home. Deputies say Jones claimed to be exchanging gunfire with Frederick when Frederick was killed, but they say that doesn't hold up, because Frederick was shot in the back.
