TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- The mother of a 37-year-old Tampa man is so desperate to find him a wife that she paid $500 to put an ad in The Tampa Tribune.

Claudia, who didn't want to give her last name for privacy reasons, says it's sad that such a "good boy" is alone. The ad, which ran Nov. 30, says Jason is gainfully employed, kind and handsome. She's hoping to find at least a few good candidates before Christmas.

Jason says he's fine with his mother's idea, figuring anything is worth a shot. He's been looking for Mrs. Right since his 2003 divorce.

The University of South Florida graduate works as a software marketing manager. He also volunteers with teens with Down syndrome.

Responses for the ad were directed to a P.O. Box in Virginia, where the mother-in-law hopeful lives.

Well they never said why he got a divorce in the first place...hmmm also everybody says when you marry a man, you marry his mother and this mother seems to have a tight grip on her son and thats not something a lot of women want/need to get caught up in.

This is what happens when the unbilical cord is refused to be cut...mommies boy...good job mommy...you just made your sons life worse! He might as well get a tat on his forehead stating that momma is first, last, and everywhere inbetween.
