A judge is giving the city of Tallahassee more time to redo its permit application with the Department of Environmental Protection.
The city is seeking a new permit to continue operations at the southeast sprayfield, the city's wastewater treatment facility.
The judge is putting the entire permitting process on hold, giving Tallahassee time to work out differences with the Florida Wildlife Federation and Wakulla County.
The groups are suing the city over the sprayfield's impacts on Wakulla Springs. The city is to come back to the judge in 90 days.
