This is the 3 foot image that alarmed a student at Florida State University. We had to blur some of the words.

But the message says:

"I will kill you. You sorry worthless preps, myself and ten juggalo's will enter the library and open fire on any prep's or faculty. The red mist will spray. The bodies will fall." And the message says it will happen February 1st.

"At very first, I thought it was just random graffiti, but then as I read it, I was like struck by the fact that it was much larger than you normally see graffiti written. And it was a pretty graphic threat," said Randy Flood, who reported the message.

Randy Flood, a student working on his Ph.D. at FSU, saw the message Wednesday afternoon on the bathroom wall at this Circle K on Lake Bradford Road.

He says he's not sure if it's a hoax, but he wanted to get the word out and give police a chance to intervene.

Tallahassee Police say they're investigating the threat, but cannot elaborate on the case at this time.

"We have no reason at this time, there's nothing to validate these threats, but we take them seriously. We have begun an investigation. There are criminal sanctions that could be imposed," said Officer David McCranie, with the Tallahassee Police Department.

Many FSU students have not heard about the threat, but say they hope police will take every precaution necessary.

"I mean, yeah they should definitely be out here in presence. Nothing too extravagant, but make people know that they're there," said David Bonilla, a senior at FSU.

Flood says he believes the word "juggalo's" written in the message is in reference to lyrics in the songs by the Insane Clown Posse.

FSU Police say they're formulating a plan of action to see if it's necessary to notify students and faculty, and if so, when.
