Holiday Travel Outlook

More than two million Floridians are expected to hit the highways and byways this weekend, the highest total in nine years, heading for destinations far and near.

Across the country, 37 million people are expected to visit family and friends for backyard B-B-Q’s this fourth, with thousands of motorists pounding the pavement this year, there are bound to be a few bumps in the road.

With a little help from above, Chet and his fellow church members will be deep in the heart of Dixie by the time the night sky lights up with a collage of color.

One million Georgians are expected to be traveling this weekend. The official 72-hour holiday period began at midnight Thursday and ends Monday the 6th.
