TPD responded a little after 7 P.M. to Apalachee Parkway in reference to a motorcycle that lost control.

Witnesses say he was only going about 35 m.p.h. so speed was not a factor in the accident.

The motorcycle hit a curb which caused the bike to flip over several times.

The driver was ejected during the tumble and he was immediately rushed to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with severe head trauma.

The driver not wearing a helmet and police are not identifying him yet because they have not yet notified the family.

Both eastbound lanes are still closed.
