Former Georgia School Superintendent Linda Schrenko now resides at a prison in Tallahassee.
Schrenko was recently sentenced to eight years in prison. Prosecutors say she funneled around $600,000 of federal funds into her 2002 campaign and even into a brand new facelift.
U.S. marshals say Schrenko will do her time at FCI in Tallahassee because there is no federal women's prison in Georgia.
FCI spokesman Jason Stiles says women at the low security prison are housed in dorm style cells. He also says they must work seven hours a day.
