Former FSU President Joins Ranks at TCC

Bernie Sliger served as Florida State University's president from 1976-1991, and also as interim president in 93, a good year for the Seminole football team.

Although he bleeds garnet and gold, a competing passion is education. Most recently, Sliger served as the director of FSU's Economic Education Center, but now he's accepted an unpaid position at Tallahassee Community College at the new Center for Economic and Workforce Development.

Some of Dr. Sliger's duties will be economic forecasting and attracting new businesses to the area.
