Morning classes were cancelled so all Rattlers could get into the spirit early on, but along with all the fanfare, both administrators and student leaders had a serious message for FAMUans.
They're asking rattlers to stay clear of trouble. FAMU student Larry Rivers says there will be more than enough activities on the hill or close by to keep Rattlers on campus and out of traffic.
For example, there are two concerts just down the street at the Civic Center Friday night, featuring Ludacris and George Clinton.
