There's no place like home, and that statement means a little bit more for hundreds of returning U.S. soldiers.
There have been quite a few welcome home celebrations nation, and Channel 6 was invited to one such celebration this evening in Quincy. This is the welcome home reception for Staff Sergeant Jerome Battles.
Sergeant Battles has spent the last seven months serving the U.S. in Iraq. Sergeant battles is a member of the 3rd Infantry and says the thing he will remember the most is the fear of never coming home.
