Local Pagans kicked off what they call a Thanksgiving festival, a way to commemorate their religion and mother nature.
Kelley Lamb said sometimes people can be very harsh and uninformed of what they believe in. That's why they set up some information tables, hoping they can improve attitudes towards earth based spiritual practices.
"The word Pagan is so scary to people not knowing what it actually means, and hopefully people can come to these kinds of events and venture out and broaden their horizons a little bit, aid Kelley Lamb.
Lamb said it's the time of year to give back to the mother nature, and they are grateful for such a beautiful day to celebrate.
