Family Day at Florida State Museum

By  |

Family day was a way to beat the heat for some Tallahassee residents.
Children and parents strolled through the museum looking at statues and paintings.
Florida State students are volunteering their time to show children how to recreate their own masterpieces.
Gunnar Bracewell brought his whole family to the museum.
"My nana, my aunt, and my cousins decided to come over because this is cool art projects", said Gunnar Bracewell.
Zella Harris said she liked gluing flower pots and coloring.
The university puts on this free event twice a semester.
If you missed the arts and crafts you can join the fun on November fifth.
