Unlike last year with major projects such as the Pensacola bridge underway, law enforcement is anticipating a smoother transition for students, but that doesn't mean construction isn't underway.
FSU project management director Larry Rubin says about 30 major projects are in the works. For example, Dick Howser Stadium is taking on a whole new look and should be up and running in January, and on the near completion chart, a new dorm.
The previously well-traveled Woodward Avenue is now road blocked with a peaceful plaza. We did contact Florida A&M University about current construction projects, but were unable to get an interview.
