The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office say the only roads closed at this time are in the area of Curtis Mill near Cow Creek and in the area of Easy Street South.

In Baker County, SR 200 at Milepost 18.2 has been closed.

Leon County Road Closure Update

Leon County Emergency Management and Leon County Public Works announce official road closures as of 10:30 p.m. EDT.

The associated roads are listed below:
• Fairbanks Ferry Road (County Road 12); closed due to river flooding
• Sunny Hill Road, from Old Centerville Road to Thomasville Road (US 319); closed due to flooding

• Crooked Road at State Route 20; closed due to flooding
• Beth Page Road, from County Road 12 to the Georgia line; closed due to flooding

• North Meridian Road (County Road 155) at the double bridges; closed due to flooding detour for southbound traffic will be County Road 12 to Thomasville Road; detour for northbound traffic will be Bannerman Road to Thomasville Road

• County Road 12, from North Meridian Road to Thomasville Road; closed due to flooding eastbound traffic on County Road 12 is being detoured north on North Meridian Road to Georgia State Road 93, then south on Georgia State Road 93 to US 319 South -westbound traffic on County Road 12 is being detoured north on US 319 North to Georgia State Road 93, then south on North Meridian Road

• Chadwick Road, in the area of Whitehouse Plantation Road; closed due to flooding
• Old Bainbridge Road, north of US 27 North; closed due to water over top of the road from the Ochlockonee River and resulting damage due to flooding (more) Currently, there are no other roads within Leon County closed due to flooding.

• Baum Road, from Buck Lake Road to Capitola Road, has been reopened. Residents should monitor the latest forecasts and be prepared to take the necessary precautions to protect life and property. The National Weather Service also warns that
residents should not drive cars through flooded areas and that if they see flood waters to turn around and find another route.

The most current road condition information is available on the Leon County website at www.leoncountyfl.gov.

All flood water should be considered to be contaminated. Do not allow children to play in, wade through or swim in flood water.
The Leon County Health Department encourages residents to take safety measures related to potential flooding which can potentially make well water unsafe. If residents are unsure about the impact of flooding on their well water, they may use either bottled water or boil or disinfect all the water they use for drinking, making beverages, cooking,
brushing teeth, washing dishes and washing areas of the skin that have been cut or injured.

If their well has been flooded, residents should call the Leon County Health Department Environmental Health Division at (850) 606-8350 for information on how to sample water and where to bring the sample for bacteriological testing. It should be noted that water has to recede before testing can be completed successfully.

But the Leon County Sheriff's Office says Weems Road is closed Friday morning between Eliza and Easterwood.

Part of Crump Road is closed as well.

Sunny Hill Road between Old Centerville and Thomasville Road is out of commission. Crooked Road is closed.

And Old St. Augustine between Southwood Plantation and Williams is shut down.

Gadsden County:
As of 12:15 Gadsden county officials are monitoring Hwy 90 at Little River. County Commissioners have signed a declaration of emergency for the county and are monitoring elderly residents that have homes prone to flooding.

CR 12 at Leon/Gadsden Line/Ochlocknee River is still closed at this time. No other closures have been reported.

Madison County:
Deputies are going to residents in Madison county along the Withlacooche river to tell them that by Monday the river could POSSIBLY reach 80 ft and homes along the river at Pinetta could be flooded. If they have an RV or live there they need to take precautionary measures. There is not a mandatory evacuation, they are just warning residents.
