This was a big weekend for the Capital City as some 70 softball teams played ball and helped to boost revenue. Players took to the filed at Messer park during the 3rd Annual Capital City Invitational Softball Tournament.
Tallahassee businesses say they welcome the big crowd. One area restaurant owner says this weekend was about as big as tournament weekends get. The only bigger economic booster is when the football playoffs come to town.
The three-day tournament officially wraps up Sunday evening.
