Florida Death Warrants Signed

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush says he's reconciled his personal beliefs about the death penalty with his responsibility to sign death warrants.

The governor's comments come in response to the latest two death warrants he signed. One recently signed for 1990 Gainesville killer Danny Rolling.

Rolling pleaded guilty to the murders of five students.

Gov. Bush also signed a death warrant for Arthur Rutherford, who was convicted of killing a 63-year-old woman in Milton in 1985. Bush says he has a duty as governor to sign death warrants because the death penalty is the law in Florida.
