Jurors Selected in Kappa Hazing Trial

A jury is now seated and ready to hear the case of five Florida A&M University students accused of hazing.

Court administrators said there will be six jurors and two alternates.

The eight include three men and five women, but there are no FAMU students among them.

Court officials say two of the jurors are black, five are white and one is Indian.

Wednesday morning the judge will hear a defense motion to dismiss the case. If that motion is denied, attorneys will immediately proceed with their opening statements.
