Betty Castor's internal poll shows her running ten points ahead of other democratic contenders in the race to succeed retiring U.S. Senator Bob Graham.
The poll was taken two weeks ago, asking voters about candidates, and important issues
The poll was taken before recent statistics showed a more than a 7 percent growth rate for the last quarter, Castor joins three other democrats and four republicans who are so far in that race.
