The greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce introduced its newest chairman this morning. The announcement came before the annual breakfast meeting.
Randy Hanna is taking over the reigns. During his speech this morning he said he will focus on making the airport an economic engine - as well as attracting and retaining young professionals to the Capital City.
The Chamber is launching a new program called Access Tallahassee, geared keep young professionals in Tallahassee. It's a group that makes up 20 percent of the workforce and spends $200 billion a year.
Hanna says it’s an age group vital to maintaining the local economy. Besides Access Tallahassee, The Chamber is also unveiling a new logo.
More than 1,800 members make up the greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. That's up 41 percent in the last five years.
The Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce began a new fiscal year October 1.
