People who live on Victoria Place say they're glad to see the city making improvements to their neighborhood. Lucious Carr says they have come a long way, but the roads were in better condition than this before all the work started, even after rainy days.
Mother nature is also leaving these workers stuck. They say the complaints keep coming, but under these conditions they're doing the best they can.
All the projects have to be complete within the next two months, not including weekends, rainy days or bad working conditions. Workers say the drainage work they're doing now is just one phase of the job and the paving won't begin until the dryer days roll in.
There are eight projects going on right now...and city officials say they want people to be patient. Nonetheless, they want to assure residents that the work will be done in the time allotted.
